The Full Stack Developer II role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable business applications that support the organization's growth and operational goals. This position contributes by delivering secure, reliable software solutions and collaborating across teams to ensure high-quality user experiences and continuous improvement in software development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.
- Build scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Translate technical and business requirements into high-quality software.
- Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and backend services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across system layers.
- Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and business teams throughout development.
- Engage in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and daily standups.
- Support user acceptance testing and production deployment.
- Assist with technical documentation and application support.
- Address performance, scalability, reliability, and security concerns.
- Maintain technical documentation of system architecture and deployment.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of full-stack software development experience.
- Strong proficiency with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
- Experience with JavaScript, React, state management, and responsive design.
- Skilled in developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Experience with MongoDB data modeling and query optimization.
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks.
- TypeScript experience preferred.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker; Kubernetes is a plus.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Experience in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with AI tools or AI-powered applications is a plus.
- Experience in healthcare, benefits administration, or regulated industries is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
