The Data Engineer role is responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines that enable the organization to make informed decisions and develop data-centric services. The position contributes by ensuring data quality and accessibility, supporting cross-functional teams, and facilitating insights that help accelerate electric vehicle adoption.Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines using AI tools and proven technologies
- Transform large datasets into clear, performant formats for organization-wide use
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and business teams to provide foundational data
- Produce comprehensive documentation and semantic context for datasets
- Monitor and uphold data quality standards through checks and ongoing improvements
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience on a data team
- Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries with window functions, CTEs, and joins
- Experience with Python for advanced data analysis, including pandas
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools such as Azure, Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, and Sigma
- Adaptability to emerging technologies and AI tools with a continuous improvement mindset
- Initiative to experiment, troubleshoot, and resolve issues independently
- Passion for contributing to climate solutions by supporting electric vehicle adoption
Pay Range and Compensation Package
- $90,000 to $110,000 base salary plus a 10% annual bonus
