2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Data Analytics Engineer role is designed to enhance the organization''s data infrastructure and analytics capabilities. This position is responsible for building and maintaining critical data systems that provide real-time, reliable data to support go-to-market and internal tools. The role contributes by enabling data-driven insights and decisions across various departments, improving data flow efficiency, and applying machine learning models to identify customer trends and opportunities.
3. Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain business-critical data and distributed systems for real-time data access
• Integrate backend data with business systems such as Salesforce, Marketo, Intercom, Google Analytics, and Metabase
• Manage large-scale data, including ETL processes and data warehouse/lake organization
• Improve internal data flow efficiency and centralize sources of truth
• Innovate and build scalable data systems using Google Cloud Platform
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and business teams
• Analyze data to generate business insights and support data-driven decision making
• Develop data science and machine learning models to identify customer behaviors and opportunities
• Utilize and introduce tools such as Airflow, DBT, Presto, and Hightouch; explore incorporation of artificial intelligence
4. Requirements:
• 6+ years of professional experience in a technical role, preferably in a high-growth startup
• Proficiency in Python; experience with DBT and Airflow is advantageous
• Self-driven with strong problem identification and solution implementation skills
• Combination of technical expertise and business understanding, including SaaS metrics and scaling infrastructure challenges
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with cross-functional collaboration experience
• Experience in growing and managing a small, high-functioning team
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• The New York and California base salary for this full-time position is between $170,000 and $190,000, determined by experience, skills, and qualifications
