The Community Engagement Specialist will lead the community engagement efforts within the social media team, focusing on growing and nurturing the social community across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Threads. This role is responsible for fostering genuine connections between the organization and its members by managing inbound and outbound interactions and turning member stories into actionable insights. The position plays a key role in shaping product development, social content, and broader company strategy through social listening and trend identification. The specialist will have autonomy to respond to emerging cultural moments and help transform members into brand advocates.Responsibilities
- Manage daily community engagement on social channels, including comments and direct messages
- Respond promptly and thoughtfully to creator inquiries, product questions, and member comments
- Publish outbound comments based on social listening and trending topics that align with the brand voice
- Launch and manage the Instagram Broadcast Channel presence
- Maintain consistent brand voice and values in all interactions
- Identify compelling member content for reposting or potential commercial use
- Maintain and organize a user-generated content (UGC) library for cross-team use
- Monitor brand mentions, conversations, and sentiment through social listening
- Provide monthly social listening reports with actionable insights for social and marketing teams
- Track and analyze the performance of community interactions
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in community management or social media with proven success on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Threads
- Strong command of brand voice and excellent copywriting skills adaptable across platforms
- Ability to identify and engage with trending cultural moments authentically
- Familiarity with tools such as Sprout Social, Figma, CapCut, and Airtable, or willingness to learn
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across teams and integrating social-first strategies
- Adaptability to platform algorithm changes and emerging trends
- Data-driven approach combining creativity with performance analysis
- Innovative thinker with a user-focused perspective and curiosity about audience behavior
Pay Range and Compensation Package
- The US-based salary range for this position is $87,500 to $128,500, with final pay based on geographic location, knowledge, skills, and experience
