Job Description
About the Opportunity
The Claims Application Analyst serves as the bridge between Claims business operations and technology solutions at RemoteHunter. The role involves translating organizational needs into technology-based solutions that improve efficiency, reporting, compliance, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document detailed business system requirements for the core claims platform and related integrations.
- Translate Claims stakeholders' needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
- Collaborate with business units to identify workflow inefficiencies and design future state solutions.
- Create documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
- Support UAT efforts, application configuration, and end-user training.
- Manage communication between Claims, Enterprise Tech, and external vendors.
- Facilitate agile processes including backlog grooming, story refinement, and sprint planning.
- Support integration of enterprise systems such as digital mailroom solutions and API-based services.
- Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements for scalability and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis, preferably in an insurance or claims environment.
- 3+ years of experience with software development lifecycle, UAT, and agile project management methodologies.
