About the Opportunity

A rapidly growing digital marketing and coaching business for attorneys nationwide is seeking a Chief Technology & AI Officer. This pivotal role focuses on leading technology and AI strategy to support scalable growth and enhance client outcomes for the organization and its affiliated entities.

Key Responsibilities of the Chief Technology & AI Officer

  • Own company-wide technology and AI strategy, defining and maintaining a long-term architecture.
  • Ensure technology decisions robustly support scalability, leverage, and superior client results.
  • Design and implement an innovative agentic operating model.
  • Architect sophisticated AI agents across critical business functions including sales, service delivery, finance, operations, and internal reporting.
  • Strategically define which decisions will be automated versus human-led to optimize efficiency and impact.
  • Establish and maintain a single, authoritative source of truth for all client and operational data.
  • Ensure real-time updates, notifications, and intelligent recommendations are seamlessly integrated across all teams.
  • Manage comprehensive governance, security, and compliance, covering data security and adherence to AI governance standards.
  • Ensure full compliance across all tools, vendors, and integrations.
  • Set standards for technology tools and platforms, approve or reject technology investments, and meticulously manage the technology budget.
  • Lead effectively through influence and clarity, fostering autonomy rather than micromanagement.
  • Collaborate closely with department leaders to redesign workflows and optimize operating models.

Requirements for this Role

  • 5 to 10+ years of progressive experience in senior technology, platform, or systems architecture roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and scaling complex, integrated systems.
  • A strong, comprehensive understanding of AI, automation, and agent-based architectures.
  • Proven capability as a strategic decision-maker, extending beyond mere implementation.
  • Experience supporting or integrating multiple business units or acquisitions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate a technical vision into tangible business impact.

Compensation

This role offers a competitive base salary of $250,000, with additional bonuses leading to a total On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $300,000.
