About the Opportunity

A rapidly growing digital marketing and coaching business for attorneys nationwide is seeking a Chief Technology & AI Officer. This pivotal role focuses on leading technology and AI strategy to support scalable growth and enhance client outcomes for the organization and its affiliated entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and define the company-wide technology and AI strategy.
  • Maintain a long-term architecture that supports scalability and client results.
  • Design and implement an agentic operating model across various departments.
  • Architect AI agents for sales, service delivery, finance, operations, and internal reporting.
  • Determine which decisions are automated versus human-led for optimal efficiency.
  • Establish a single, authoritative source of truth for all client and operational data.
  • Ensure real-time data updates, notifications, and intelligent recommendations for all teams.
  • Manage comprehensive governance, security, and compliance, including data security and AI governance standards.
  • Ensure compliance across all technology tools, vendors, and integrations.
  • Set standards for technology platforms, approve investments, and manage the technology budget.
  • Lead effectively through influence and clarity, fostering autonomy over micromanagement.
  • Collaborate closely with department leaders to redesign workflows and operating models.

Requirements

  • 5 to 10+ years of experience in senior technology, platform, or systems architecture roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and scaling complex, integrated systems.
  • Strong understanding of AI, automation, and agent-based architectures.
  • Proven track record as a strategic decision-maker, extending beyond mere implementation.
  • Experience supporting or integrating multiple business units or acquisitions.
  • Exceptional communication skills to articulate a technical vision and its business impact.

Compensation

The compensation for the Chief Technology & AI Officer role includes a base salary of $250,000, with additional bonuses bringing the On-Target Earnings (OTE) to $300,000.
