About the Opportunity
The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in supporting IT compliance and support efforts by designing and maintaining data visualizations and dashboards. This position enables leadership and program teams to interpret complex data related to IT governance and security and contributes to meeting reporting requirements for federal health agencies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and visual analytics for program performance and IT governance reporting
- Build and maintain business intelligence dashboards using diverse data sources
- Translate complex technical and compliance data into executive-level visuals
- Ensure visualizations meet accessibility and usability standards
- Extract, transform, and analyze data from SQL Server, SharePoint, Excel, and ticketing systems
- Develop data models, calculated measures, and KPIs aligned with federal reporting standards
- Validate data accuracy across reporting sources
- Support EPLC and CPIC reporting, including milestone and risk tracking
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting through automated visual solutions
- Provide analytical support for information security and governance reporting
- Respond to ad hoc data requests with rapid development of visual summaries
- Collaborate with program managers, analysts, and system owners to define reporting requirements
- Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Maintain documentation for dashboards and data sources
Requirements
- Seven or more years of experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or analytics
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field
- Proven ability to translate program, financial, or IT operational data into executive-ready visual products
- Experience supporting government or large enterprise IT programs
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including project managers, InfoSec personnel, developers, and leadership
Pay Range and Compensation Package
The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
