About the Opportunity
The Applications Developer 3 is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging software applications that support the organization’s products and services. This role contributes by enhancing existing systems, implementing new features, and ensuring software quality and functionality align with system specifications. The position supports collaboration across teams to maintain consistency and portability across products.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for commercial or end-user applications
- Write code and perform testing and debugging of applications
- Conduct detailed design based on provided design or external specifications
- Assist in system planning, scheduling, and implementation
- Analyze system specifications and existing business processes
- Build enhancements, including new product features, and resolve bugs
- Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans
- Review integration and regression test plans created by QA as needed
- Communicate and collaborate with QA and porting engineering teams to discuss product functionality changes and ensure consistency, testability, and portability
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- At least 6 months of experience in the job offered or a Software/Systems Engineering-related occupation
- Proficiency in Java
- Experience with Spring Boot Framework
- Knowledge of REST APIs
- Skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with React and Angular frameworks
- Familiarity with Git
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of Docker
- Experience with Jenkins
