About the Opportunity
The Analytics Engineer will join the Product Data team, playing a pivotal role in scaling the data platform, improving engineering capacity, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. Reporting directly into Product, you will collaborate with Engineering, Customer Success, and Go-to-Market teams to build a reliable and actionable data foundation that supports product strategy and customer growth.
- Define and implement key product north star metrics and dashboards.
- Build, model, and maintain analytics-ready datasets (in dbt).
- Establish data governance practices for clarity of metrics.
- Partner with engineers on instrumentation for new product features.
- Develop anomaly detection tools and repeatable querying frameworks.
- Translate complex datasets into actionable insights.
- Expand the analytics warehouse with new data sources and pipelines.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to analyze customer journeys.
About You
An ideal candidate brings technical mastery, business acumen, and a collaborative spirit. You should have at least 5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or a similar role, 2+ years of experience in data modeling using dbt, expert SQL skills, proven experience in implementing data governance frameworks, and strong cross-functional collaboration abilities. A solid business acumen to connect data models with business strategy is essential. A willingness to take initiative in a small yet growing team is also desired.
Nice to have: Familiarity with GitHub and version control best practices, and proficiency in Python for basic data science and statistical methods.
