About the Opportunity
The AI Systems Engineer will design and implement internal tools to improve operational efficiency across multiple teams within the organization. This role involves identifying organizational challenges and developing practical, AI-powered, and automated solutions. Working closely with senior leadership, including the CEO, the position impacts core business operations by delivering production-ready software that enhances productivity and streamlines workflows. The role is full-time, based in the New York City office with remote work flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy internal tools addressing operational challenges in engineering, operations, and go-to-market teams
- Design AI-powered workflows to improve productivity, knowledge management, and decision-making
- Develop automation systems to reduce manual processes and increase efficiency
- Integrate AI technologies into existing workflows and platforms such as Slack
- Collaborate with CEO and senior leadership to identify and implement high-impact solutions
- Deliver production-quality code that supports the organization’s operational infrastructure
Requirements
- Recent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Proven software development experience with completed projects in personal, academic, or professional settings
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Interest or experience in AI integration, API development, and workflow automation
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on coding solutions
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, flexible environments
- Strong communication skills to convey technical impact to business stakeholders
- Bonus: Experience with Slack apps, AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic), web scraping, data processing, or cybersecurity tools
Pay Range and Compensation Package
- Base salary ranges from $125,000 to $250,000, excluding benefits and potential bonuses
- Final offer depends on role, seniority, location, contract type, skills, experience, and education
