This AI Specialist role will lead efforts to transform how AI engineers release, monitor, and optimize their agents, scaling the AI-focused platform from initial validation to an industry-leading product. This position requires deep specialized product knowledge, customer engagement, feedback gathering, and driving early adoption. It involves building integrations, technical content, whitepapers, tutorials, and demos to support AI application development and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level solutions and sales engineering support
• Represent practical AI expertise in customer conversations, serving as an escalation point
• Lead early-stage implementation and adoption of the AI platform at scale, ensuring activation and churn prevention
• Develop and document scalable Solutions Engineering playbooks and best practices
• Partner with leadership to surface revenue-related product insights
• Support points of view run by on-the-ground solutions engineers
• Collect and propagate product feedback
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align product concepts with technical feasibility and strategic goals
• Monitor product performance, user experience, and market response, iterating based on data and insights
• Ensure the product roadmap meets market demand and delivers exceptional user experiences, especially for AI developers, using data to address objections

Build the AI Platform Into the World

• Deliver integrations based on quantified customer requests through code contributions, architecture diagrams, and whitepapers
• Serve as a key technical asset in partnerships with strategic potential partners
• Publicly evangelize the AI platform at industry conferences, webinars, partner engagements, and meetings

Technical Leadership & Communication

• Own the distribution of enablement materials to the solutions engineering team, especially regional AI subject matter experts
• Co-own revenue enablement of the AI platform with leadership and cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with AI researchers, product marketing, and leadership to build and maintain competitor playbooks

Requirements

AI & Technical Expertise

• Minimum of 12 years of related technical experience
• Extensive experience building, implementing, or selling AI solutions at scale
• Experience with multi-agent systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, AgentBuilder, or AgentCore
• Hands-on experience evaluating AI agent performance at scale with automated methods
• Deep understanding of large language model mechanics and transformer architecture
• Experience building or interfacing with Model Context Protocol servers
• Strong Python skills with experience in PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Solid foundation in software engineering principles and current market trends

• Ability to anticipate AI trends and position products accordingly
• Deep curiosity about AI’s impact on software development and commitment to staying current with new AI technologies

Compensation

Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones for Level 5:

• Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area, NYC Metropolitan Area, Boston, Seattle - $191,000 to $263,000
• Zone 2: Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago - $172,000 to $237,000
• Zone 3: All other US locations - $163,000 to $224,000

Exact compensation varies based on skills, experience, and location. Additional benefits include restricted stock units, health, vision, dental insurance, and mental health support.
