About the Opportunity:

An organization is seeking a skilled AI Developer for a full-time, permanent, fully remote position open to US-based candidates only. This role focuses on building enterprise-grade AI-driven applications utilizing cutting-edge technologies like Java, Python, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and MCP. The successful AI Developer will be a key player in a cross-functional team, delivering scalable and secure AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and intelligent AI agents using Java and/or Python.
• Build and optimize sophisticated Generative AI applications, involving expertise in prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and advanced agentic workflows such as multi-agent orchestration, effective tool usage, and memory management.
• Implement the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to standardize AI interactions with external tools, databases, and services, ensuring seamless communication.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) with diverse enterprise data systems to facilitate scalable and secure AI solution deployment.
• Work with various vector databases, including FAISS, Pinecone, and Weaviate, to enhance semantic search capabilities and context retrieval for AI models.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, researchers, and engineers to translate the strategic AI roadmap goals into actionable technical deliverables.

Requirements:

• Possess strong programming proficiency in Java and/or Python, demonstrating the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Solid understanding of Generative AI concepts, encompassing prompt design and optimization, RAG pipelines, effective document chunking strategies, and agentic workflows (e.g., LangChain agents, tool calling).
• Proven experience with leading LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with open-source models like LLaMA, Mistral, or their equivalents, showcasing a broad knowledge of the AI landscape.
• Hands-on experience in implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) for developing scalable and standardized AI-to-tool integrations.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and prominent cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is essential for building robust solutions.
