AI Developer

About the Opportunity:

An organization is hiring an AI Developer for a full-time, permanent, fully remote position open to US-based candidates only. The role focuses on building enterprise-grade AI-driven applications using Java, Python, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and MCP. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and AI agents using Java and/or Python
• Build and optimize Generative AI applications, including prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic workflows (multi-agent orchestration, tool usage, memory management)
• Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) to standardize AI interactions with external tools, databases, and services
• Integrate LLMs with enterprise data systems to enable scalable and secure AI solutions
• Work with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) for semantic search and context retrieval
• Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers to translate AI roadmap goals into technical deliverables

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python
• Solid understanding of Generative AI concepts, including prompt design and optimization, RAG pipelines, document chunking strategies, and agentic workflows (e.g., LangChain agents, tool calling)
• Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with open-source models like LLaMA, Mistral, or equivalents
• Hands-on experience implementing MCP for scalable and standardized AI-to-tool integrations
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Compensation:

The salary range for the AI Developer role is $100,000 to $110,000.
