The team is now building Cantina, the 'GitHub for Security', connecting security researchers with projects that need their expertise. Cantina supports collaborative security reviews, public and private security competitions, bug bounty programs, incident response, and an AI code analyzer.

Role Overview

The AI Agent Architect role for Operations and Sales teams is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and continuously optimizing AI agents to support internal operations and sales workflows. This position is key in automating repetitive tasks, augmenting decision-making, and scaling high-touch activities across the business.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations, sales, and cross-functional teams to identify high-leverage AI opportunities.
• Architect, build, test, and deploy AI agents including prompt-based agents and RAG pipelines.
• Integrate agents into internal systems such as CRMs, workflow tools, and dashboards.
• Monitor agent performance, define metrics, and continuously iterate.
• Establish safety protocols including guardrails, fallback logic, and human-in-the-loop mechanisms.
• Document designs, agent behaviors, and escalate edge cases.
• Train stakeholders and end users on interaction with these agents.
• Stay updated with the latest in agent frameworks, LLMs, and automation best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience working with AI systems focusing on prompt engineering and agent orchestration.
• Experience building agents applied to business processes for sales and operations.
• Proficiency in software engineering with Python, REST APIs, and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with CRM systems like HubSpot, Salesforce, and workflow tools such as Zapier.
• Ability to translate technical and non-technical needs effectively.
• Metrics-driven mindset with an emphasis on KPIs and ROI.
• Excellent cross-team communication skills.
• Ownership mindset and proactive approach to challenges.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with agent frameworks like AutoGPT and LangChain agents.
• Knowledge of vector stores and retrieval augmented generation.
• Understanding of security protocols, access controls, and audit logging.
• Background in scaling internal tooling in a startup environment.
