Role Impact

As a Software Engineer AI at Upsun, you design, build, and deploy AI-driven solutions that shape customer growth and operations. Your expertise in software engineering and AI will expand the role of AI in our product, enabling faster build, deployment and scaling for customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain backend services in Go for AI-driven agents.
  • Integrate AI/ML models including LLMs, decision-making systems, and reinforcement learning agents into production.
  • Develop APIs and microservices for agent communication and orchestration.
  • Implement scalable concurrency, event-driven systems, and message queues.
  • Ensure security, reliability, and observability with robust logging and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with Data and Product teams to turn prototypes into production-ready services.
  • Write clear technical documentation and champion Go best practices.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in Go development.
  • Experience building applications that leverage foundational AI models.
  • Strong awareness of the AI engineering landscape with quick learning ability.
  • A customer-focused mindset and security understanding in both AI and application development.

Bonus Points

  • Background in PaaS development.
  • Experience with RAG, MCP, or agent-based systems.
  • Knowledge of integrating Continuous AI into development pipelines.
