About the Role
Remote Leverage is seeking a highly motivated and energetic HVAC Estimator to join our team. This is a remote position working directly with US businesses. Multiple positions are available for immediate hire.
Responsibilities
- Review mechanical and electrical plans and specifications to complete accurate material takeoffs for ductwork, piping, and fittings.
- Estimate project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, to prepare competitive bids.
- Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes for equipment and specialized services.
- Coordinate with engineers and general contractors by submitting RFIs and clarifying project drawings and requirements.
- Prepare and submit detailed proposals, including pricing, exclusions, assumptions, and bid documentation, within project deadlines.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills
- 1+ years of experience in an HVAC Estimator role or related role.
- Experience in the HVAC industry is required.
- Proficiency in HVAC estimation is required.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Fluent English, both verbal and written.
- Stable internet connection, laptop, and headset.
- High level of motivation and persistence.
- Energetic and upbeat personality.
- Team player attitude.
