Job Description
Overview
Remote Leverage is hiring for multiple Remote Financial Planning & Analysis Associate positions. Immediate start for candidates with relevant experience in financial planning and analysis. This role involves working directly with business stakeholders and founders to develop and maintain financial models and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Build, refine, and maintain multi-year financial models
- Develop financial projections and valuation models for fundraising
- Conduct company valuations using various methodologies
- Create scenario models to evaluate financial impacts
- Analyze variances and provide corrective action recommendations
- Partner with founders on budgeting and forecasting
- Define and report key metrics for valuation
- Design and deliver investor-grade reporting packages
- Collaborate with bookkeeping and accounting teams for data integrity
Preferred Skills & Tools
- Strong financial modeling skills including 3-statement, scenario/sensitivity analysis, and cohort/unit economics
- Robust accounting fundamentals (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow; accrual vs cash)
- Expertise in Excel and Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivots; bonus: Power Query/Power Pivot)
- Experience with ERP/accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage Intacct)
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience as a Financial Planning & Analysis Associate or similar role
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Stable internet connection, laptop, and headset
- Energetic, upbeat, and team oriented
- Receptive to feedback and keen on continuous improvement
