Job Description
Construction Cost Estimator
Remote Leverage is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Cost Estimators to join our team. We are actively hiring for multiple remote positions to support US businesses by finding talented individuals from various countries. As a Construction Cost Estimator, you will work directly with our business clients, playing a crucial role in project pre-construction phases by accurately assessing material and labor costs.
Responsibilities
- Download and organize all necessary project documents from Procore.
- Read addenda thoroughly and update takeoffs accordingly.
- Complete precise quantity takeoffs for demolition items.
- Prepare comprehensive inclusions and exclusions based on demo keynotes.
- Accurately identify job types as either standard or non-standard.
- Prepare detailed notes and summaries for the Head Estimator.
- Upload completed estimates and notes efficiently to Copper.
- Proactively flag projects identified as high risk.
- Ensure Basic Estimates are submitted a minimum of 3 days before the deadline.
- Complete all assigned Connecteam tasks and provide a clear end-of-day summary.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a Construction Cost Estimator or in a similar role.
- Fluent proficiency in English, both verbal and written communication.
- Possession of a stable internet connection, a reliable laptop, and a quality headset.
- An energetic and upbeat attitude, contributing positively to team dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to be a collaborative team player.
- A willingness to actively listen to feedback and continuously improve.
