About the Role

Our client, a B2B-focused company, is seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing Specialist to drive measurable lead generation. This role is focused on building practical, execution-ready marketing systems that translate strategy into tangible results. It is ideal for a senior marketer who enjoys diagnosing growth challenges, identifying gaps, and owning outcomes without managing a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit the current digital presence, including site, funnels, and channels.
  • Clarify ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and prioritize verticals for lead generation.
  • Define lead sources and recommend the optimal channel mix.
  • Identify gaps and prioritize opportunities to improve lead flow and conversion.
  • Set up, launch, and optimize marketing funnels and experiments.
  • Collaborate with the in-house marketing team to execute campaigns and initiatives.
  • Identify friction points between marketing and sales and recommend improvements.
  • Measure, track, and report on lead generation and pipeline contribution metrics.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B digital marketing, growth, or demand generation.
  • Proven experience developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive leads.
  • Strong understanding of B2B funnels, buyer journeys, and conversion optimization.
  • Experience auditing marketing efforts and identifying gaps or bottlenecks in lead flow.
  • Ability to translate strategy into clear, prioritized actions and experiments.
  • Experience collaborating with founders, sales, or business development teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM and analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics, ad platforms).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, resource-conscious environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with inbound demand campaigns and paid channel optimization.
  • Background in funnel experimentation and A/B testing.
  • Exposure to fractional or consulting marketing roles.
  • Experience working alongside small in-house marketing teams.
