About the role

Strategic Advisor — Managed Services

The Absolute Prerequisite: We are exceptionally specific about the candidates we seek. The majority will not be a fit. Please read the following paragraph carefully before proceeding.

You must have personally sold, or currently hold deep, active relationships with senior decision-makers who purchase, large-scale BPO, managed services, headcount-based outsourcing, or human-intensive operational engagements with contract sizes exceeding seven figures. This involves work where clients pay for human teams executing operational tasks at volume, such as large outsourced support teams, data annotation programs, managed back-office operations, customer service at scale, KPO, or RPO, where headcount is the primary unit of value.

If your career has been dedicated to selling enterprise SaaS, AI products, software platforms, or other product-led categories, and you lack direct, current relationships with buyers of headcount-based outsourced services, this opportunity is not suitable for you, irrespective of your broader network strength.

We are marketing a tech-first solution to the BPO buyer market. Our requirement is not for someone who has sold technology, but for someone who has sold to those who purchase BPO services and can leverage that network credibly.

About the Client (Confidential Details):

Our client is a rapidly scaling AI-augmented services company serving global enterprise clients in regulated industries such as financial services, global data providers, and prominent tech unicorns. They are expanding into adjacent verticals, with each new business line targeting eight-figure scale and beyond.

Their unique origin story sets them apart. They were not a BPO that incorporated AI; they began as a tech company founded by veteran entrepreneurs and are now led by engineers, AI researchers, and product operators. Human teams were integrated only where regulation, judgment, and output quality necessitated it. This architectural approach is fundamentally different and difficult for traditional BPOs to replicate.

The current team comprises:

  • Customer success and operations leadership from Google and other senior global tech companies.
  • Engineering and AI talent from Turing and leading Silicon Valley AI firms.
  • Operations leaders from major BPOs worldwide who have managed large-scale enterprise back-office operations and understand the shortcomings of legacy models.

This is not a nascent startup attempting to enter the enterprise services space. It is an AI-first operator scaling into a category that many legacy players will struggle to navigate.

The Engagement:

This is a confidential advisory engagement for a select group of senior commercial operators possessing the required network. Compensation includes a monthly retainer for active engagement and warm introductions, a per-meeting fee for qualified meetings facilitated with senior decision-makers controlling seven-figure outsourced services spend, and significant commission on deals closed where you were involved end-to-end. The structure is tailored to your network's strength, depth of involvement, and the outcomes you deliver.

This is structured as an independent engagement, offering autonomy and outcome-based compensation (meetings booked, deals influenced, deals closed). We are open to the future potential of these relationships, which may evolve into senior commercial roles, executive positions, deeper participation in specific business lines, or long-term partnerships. We are seeking individuals with whom we can build lasting business relationships.

For those seeking traditional salaried employment, this structure may not align with your current expectations. However, if you are pursuing a significant commercial opportunity that rewards your established network and offers potential for substantial future growth, this engagement is designed for you.

Qualifying Criteria (Non-Negotiable):

Conversations will not proceed if any of the following criteria are not met:

  • Headcount-Based Sales Experience: You have sold, or possess direct, current relationships with buyers of, headcount-based BPO, managed services, or outsourced operations engagements with contract values exceeding $1 million annually. Active, working relationships are essential, not outdated LinkedIn connections.
  • Seven-Figure Deal Experience: You have been directly involved in closing enterprise contracts with an Annual Contract Value (ACV) of $1 million or more. You should be able to detail the negotiation, procurement process, and reasons for closure.
  • End-to-End Ownership: You have managed a deal cycle from initiation to signature, not merely handing off after qualification or only closing the final stages. You owned the entire arc.
  • Pain-Point Fluency: You can articulate, without prompting, the breaking points of outsourced services models at the senior buyer level, including headcount math impacted by AI, the discrepancy between MSA promises and year-two delivery, and what enterprise buyers truly seek when expressing a need for
