Sales Manager - BT Sales Group

The Sales Manager works to maximize sales occupancy and rates in conjunction with hotel operations to increase profits by increasing room sales and generating business through aggressive sales efforts.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct aggressive solicitation via outside calls, appointments, and mail.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual marketing plan for assigned segments.
  • Send proposals on leads and promptly follow up for conversions.
  • Clearly document client requirements for room blocks, meeting, and banquet needs.
  • Collect and route all necessary details for definite groups.
  • Maintain a set sales quota and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare weekly sales reports and itineraries for potential customers.
  • Work cooperatively with associates and promote a guest service culture.
  • Perform additional reasonable tasks as assigned by management.
