Role Summary
REMWaste is hiring a Sales Team Leader who is first and foremost a closer. This isn’t a desk management role - you’ll be on the phones daily, handling real inbound leads, speaking with customers, and closing deals yourself while helping develop our remote sales team. We’re specifically looking for someone at the supervisor or strong team leader level who wants to grow. If you’re already a full manager, this probably isn’t the right fit. But if you’re a top-performing closer who’s ready to take that next step - learning the business inside-out while leading by example - this role has a clear path to Sales Manager as you prove yourself.
Your Day-to-Day
- Active selling: You’ll be taking inbound calls and making outbound calls, building rapport with customers, handling objections, and closing deals alongside the team
- Leading by example: Your team will see how you sell, how you handle difficult conversations, and how you consistently hit targets
- Coaching in real-time: Listening to calls, jumping in on escalations, and helping agents improve their technique
- Performance support: Tracking team metrics, identifying where agents need help, and providing practical feedback
- Onboarding support: Helping new team members learn the ropes and get up to speed
The goal is simple: you need to understand how to sell our services exceptionally well so you can eventually teach and manage others. You won’t be sitting back reviewing spreadsheets - you’ll be in the trenches figuring out what works, refining the approach, and showing the team how it’s done.
Who We’re Looking For
You’re the right fit if you:
- Have supervisor or been a senior team leader (or are a senior sales agent ready to step up)
- Are still actively selling - not just managing from a distance
- Have significantly raised revenues of a team of salespeople.
- Are willing to earn the opportunity to grow into a management position
What disqualifies you:
- You’re already a Sales Manager looking for a lateral move (no growth opportunity here)
- You haven’t been hands-on with selling in the last 6+ months
- You’re looking for a pure management role where you don’t need to close deals yourself
Technical Requirements
- Modern Laptop/PC (8GB RAM, iCore processor or better)
- Wired fiber internet
- USB headset with microphone
- Quiet, professional work environment
- Fluent English with clear communication skills
Schedule
- Fully Remote – Global Role
- Monday–Saturday, 5 days per week, 8:00am–5:00pm UK time (1 hr break)
