Job Overview: UX Product Intern at Relativity
Relativity is actively seeking a motivated UX Product Intern to contribute to the research, design, and development of intuitive, powerful user experiences across our product suite, notably RelativityOne (SaaS). This role is ideal for a user advocate with a demonstrated portfolio showcasing strong problem-solving skills in software and workflow design. You will apply design thinking principles to various tasks, effectively transforming constraints and feedback into innovative solutions.
As a UX Product Intern, you will be an integral part of cross-functional teams dedicated to building market-leading products. This collaborative environment involves working closely with Product Design, User Research, UX Engineering, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Documentation teams.
Responsibilities
- Participate actively in UX team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and group critiques.
- Conduct user interviews and surveys to gather valuable insights.
- Build interactive prototypes for effective user testing.
- Collaborate with designers to develop and refine visual assets and style guides.
- Ensure strict compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Conduct thorough competitor research to inform design decisions.
- Assist in maintaining comprehensive UX documentation and design system libraries.
- Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
- Assist in basic front-end implementation, potentially using HTML/CSS.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in User Experience, Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, or a relevant discipline.
- A compelling portfolio highlighting problem-solving skills and experience utilizing diverse methods to address user challenges.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, both within teams and with end-users.
- Experience working with both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Strong interest in using HTML, CSS, and other UI technologies.
