Responsibilities

  • Create and manage reliable project timelines and schedules.
  • Monitor progress and report on milestones and objectives.
  • Identify critical dependencies and coordinate cross-team collaboration.
  • Manage program risks and facilitate problem solving.
  • Collect execution metrics and improve overall processes.

About the Team

The Vehicle Software team at Relativity Space develops safety-critical software for Terran R, operating under extreme conditions and high-reliability expectations. You will work with distributed, real-time control software that directly impacts flight success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years in technical program management or software engineering.
  • Experience in C++, Rust, and/or Python software development.
  • Proven record with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Atlassian, GitLab/Git, CI/CD).
  • Ability to manage complex technical projects and multidisciplinary teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with launch vehicles or spacecraft.
  • Background in software certification programs.
  • Experience in agile startup environments.
