Responsibilities
- Create and manage reliable project timelines and schedules.
- Monitor progress and report on milestones and objectives.
- Identify critical dependencies and coordinate cross-team collaboration.
- Manage program risks and facilitate problem solving.
- Collect execution metrics and improve overall processes.
About the Team
The Vehicle Software team at Relativity Space develops safety-critical software for Terran R, operating under extreme conditions and high-reliability expectations. You will work with distributed, real-time control software that directly impacts flight success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years in technical program management or software engineering.
- Experience in C++, Rust, and/or Python software development.
- Proven record with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Atlassian, GitLab/Git, CI/CD).
- Ability to manage complex technical projects and multidisciplinary teams.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with launch vehicles or spacecraft.
- Background in software certification programs.
- Experience in agile startup environments.
