About the Team

The propulsion team is responsible for the complete development of the Aeon-R engine systems from design through launch and reuse. They collaborate with manufacturing, test, launch, and integration teams to rapidly develop engine technology for Terran R’s first launch in 2026.

About the Role

As a Propulsion Analyst II, you will:

  • Perform thermal, structural, dynamic, and durability analyses on Aeon-R engines.
  • Analyze 3D-printed engine components and complex mechanical assemblies.
  • Collaborate with mechanical designers and manufacturing engineers for optimal solutions.
  • Develop and execute tests, including hands-on test article integration and data processing.

Qualifications

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 2+ years of relevant analysis experience with complex engineering systems. Experience with Finite Element Analysis and Computer Aided Design (CAD) software is essential. Detail orientation, organizational skills, and the drive to meet ambitious schedules are critical.

Nice to Haves

Additional beneficial skills include experience with liquid propulsion components, Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and ANSYS workbench, as well as familiarity with industry best practices and aerospace standards.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation for this role ranges from $112,000 to $143,000 USD, complemented by competitive equity, generous PTO, parental leave, a learning and development stipend, and other benefits.
