About the Role

At Relativity Space, you will carry out analysis for engineering design trades, drive design decisions based on results, and implement, maintain, and improve software tooling in various languages. You will also maintain and lead cross-functional collaboration with key teams across Vehicle Engineering.

About the Team

The Integrated Performance team owns the holistic view of how Terran R comes together. The team ensures every system on the vehicle and ground meets ambitious objectives from trajectory design to post-flight data review. Team members work hands-on with hardware and operations, driving interdisciplinary mission and vehicle design decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering design trade analysis.
  • Implement and improve simulation and analysis software tooling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Vehicle Engineering teams.
  • Support integration of design data for customer missions.
  • Lead interdisciplinary design trade analyses.

About You

You have an undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field. You are skilled in high-level programming languages like Python, Julia, or MATLAB, have strong numerical analysis skills, and thrive in multi-disciplinary teams.
