About the Team

The Quality team supports all areas of production of Relativity’s hardware. Collaborating closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, test, and launch counterparts, the team lays the foundation for processes throughout the product lifecycle.

About the Role (Quality Inspector II, Dimensional Inspection)

This role is available on two shifts: First Shift (5:00 am-3:30 pm) or Second Shift (3:00 pm-1:30 am Pacific Time). Your responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of machined components.
  • Utilizing precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, profilometers, thread gages, and more.
  • Documenting inspection results and writing nonconformance reports.
  • Performing visual inspections to identify burrs, damages, or foreign objects.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the quality lab and metrology tools.

About You

You have at least 2 years of experience in mechanical inspection or quality control in a manufacturing or engineering environment. You are proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, with an intermediate understanding of Y14.5 standards and GD&T. Experience with inspection tools, measurement techniques, and specific component finishes is required.

Additional desirable skills include machining experience and familiarity with quality management systems such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
