Overview
The HR Data Analyst position at REI (Recreational Equipment Inc.) contributes to the success of the HR division by analyzing data and insights, establishing data governance processes, and evolving HR metrics from manual reporting to automated dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and interpret data to develop executive summaries.
- Partner with the HRIS team for integrated data analysis.
- Generate monthly reports for leadership decision-making.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or other tools.
- Support stakeholders with HR data acumen and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
- 3+ years of data/analytics experience with HR data insights.
- Proficiency with UKG, Snowflake, SQL, Alteryx, Python, R, Tableau, Sigma, and MS Excel.
- Strong communication skills using PowerPoint and MS Word.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and multi-task effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in data warehouse querying and extraction with SQL.
- Experience with dbt and fluency in at least one programming language.
