Overview
Are you a seasoned assurance professional ready to shift from execution to impact? At Rehmann, the Audit & Assurance Innovation and Technology Specialist drives innovation, efficiency, and quality across the firm by integrating technology with audit and assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Executive Leadership, Corporate Services, and AFR Committees to understand technology needs.
- Define and implement policies, procedures, best practices, and guidelines for technology use.
- Offer innovative solutions supporting department and firm-wide strategic goals.
- Implement, monitor, and manage new technologies while ensuring adoption and compliance.
- Act as product owner and subject matter expert for department-specific software applications.
- Troubleshoot incidents and coordinate with IT to complete technology projects.
- Manage software contracts, license utilization, and vendor relationships.
- Develop and manage technology budgets and allocate invoices appropriately.
- Organize training programs and lead communications regarding policies and software use.
- Participate in committees related to technology, risk management, and quality control.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field, or 3+ years of experience.
- CPA and/or PMP certification preferred.
- Experience with audit software, electronic document management and workflow applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Strong leadership, customer service, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work within budgets.
- Innovative mindset with a comprehensive understanding of audit methodologies.
- Experience with web-based research, data analytics, and assurance engagement software.
