Audit & Assurance Innovation and Technology Specialist

Are you a seasoned assurance professional ready to shift from execution to impact? At Rehmann, the Audit & Assurance Innovation and Technology Specialist drives innovation, efficiency, and quality across the firm by integrating technology with audit and assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Executive Leadership, Corporate Services, and AFR Committees to understand technology needs.
• Define and implement policies, procedures, best practices, and guidelines for technology use.
• Offer innovative solutions supporting department and firm-wide strategic goals.
• Implement, monitor, and manage new technologies while ensuring adoption and compliance.
• Act as product owner and subject matter expert for department-specific software applications.
• Troubleshoot incidents and coordinate with IT to complete technology projects.
• Manage software contracts, license utilization, and vendor relationships.
• Develop and manage technology budgets and allocate invoices appropriately.
• Organize training programs and lead communications regarding policies and software use.
• Participate in committees related to technology, risk management, and quality control.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field, or 3+ years of experience.
• CPA and/or PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with audit software, electronic document management and workflow applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work within budgets.
• Innovative mindset with a comprehensive understanding of audit methodologies.
• Experience with web-based research, data analytics, and assurance engagement software.
