Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will develop robust server-side logic, build efficient APIs and services, and optimize system performance using modern cloud and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
  • Develop and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs for web and mobile applications.
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design schemas and optimize queries.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and QA for end-to-end feature delivery.
  • Implement code quality, testing, and security best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug backend issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical direction setting.
  • Write clear technical documentation and participate in code reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional backend development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development practices.
  • Understanding of scalable system design and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming techniques.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and message queues.
