About the Product Manager Role
The Product Manager within IT Solutions at Region of Peel is responsible for running large major platforms, specifically CRM/Salesforce, to improve user experience impacting the pilot area and eventually broader departments and divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the annual departmental technology planning process.
- Develop strategic artifacts including business model canvas, product vision, SWOT.
- Create and maintain multi-year technology roadmaps with business stakeholders.
- Provide strategic consultation on the product lifecycle and roadmap.
- Conduct in-depth analysis, research, and develop reports to solve complex problems.
- Define required business capabilities to meet service line needs.
- Collaborate with IT Strategic Manager, Solutions Architect, Business Analyst, and Project Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
Relevant post-secondary education in Computer Science and/or Business, or equivalent is required along with 8 years of related experience in planning, implementing and managing CRM/Salesforce/Cloud projects. Candidates must have product management expertise, strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills. Experience with enterprise platforms and APIs is essential. Certifications in Product Management, Agile, Salesforce, or Business Architecture are a plus.

Work Mode and Location
This position follows a hybrid work arrangement with a minimum requirement of two days per week on-site. The role is based at 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton, Ontario, and off-site work locations must be within Ontario.
