About the Role
Regal is seeking dedicated Cast Members to provide exceptional service to guests. Team members may be scheduled across various roles including Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring guests have a positive experience, acting as a representative of Regal in line with our mission and policies. This includes regular attendance, handling emergencies, general cleaning, and adhering to the company dress code.
Key Responsibilities
Box Office
- Operate the POS system and manage cash drawers, credit cards, and other payment methods accurately.
- Upsell premium viewing experiences like 3D, RPX, and IMAX.
- Promote the Regal Crown Club loyalty program.
- Ensure ticket sales comply with MPAA rating systems and company policies.
- Respond to guest inquiries professionally and in line with the company's service philosophy.
Concessions
- Operate the POS system, manage cash, credit cards, and inventory with accuracy.
- Promote the Regal Crown Club loyalty program.
- Operate, prepare, and clean concession equipment.
- Engage in upselling and suggestive selling techniques.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal food safety laws and regulations.
- Adhere to all federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods.
- Maintain current alcohol certifications and training where applicable.
- Meet legal age requirements for selling or serving alcohol if the theatre offers it.
- Understand training materials covering topics such as sexual harassment and discrimination.
Usher
- Tear tickets, collect appropriate stubs, and guide patrons to their auditoriums.
- Inspect backpacks and packages as needed.
- Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats.
- Enforce MPAA rating system regulations.
- Conduct in-auditorium inspections for quality control and theft prevention.
- Report any theatre issues, discrepancies, or unusual situations to management.
- Perform in-auditorium concession sales as directed.
- Clean auditoriums after shows and maintain cleanliness of restrooms, lobby, and other areas.
- Monitor the cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education/Experience
- Completion of cast certification program or progress towards completion is required.
- Any legally required state or local training and certificates for alcohol service must be obtained.
- Completion of Regal Responsible Beverage Server training via Regal Online University is mandatory if applicable.
Language Ability
Possess good public speaking skills, listen effectively, and respond clearly and directly.
Math Ability
Perform calculations with speed and accuracy, and identify and correct errors.
Reasoning Ability
Identify problems, gather data, evaluate information, recognize alternatives, and reach evidence-based conclusions. Take initiative beyond standard requirements and perform under pressure.
Personal Skills
Excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management. Ability to set goals, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
Physical Demands
This role requires frequent standing, walking, and reaching. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be necessary. Employees may occasionally lift up to 60 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
