Overview

The Lead Quality Analyst is a technologist focused on the complexity and risk inherent in building solutions. In this role, you will work collaboratively with Developers, Business Analysts, Designers, and other team members to ensure quality is addressed throughout the delivery process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Shift quality to the left by aligning with senior client stakeholders.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to create and implement a quality strategy.
  • Highlight and manage risks in software delivery with leadership.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to uncover risks and gain insights.
  • Drive improvements for clean code, tests, and testability, and advise on test tools/frameworks.
  • Define and implement a program approach to testing (UAT, E2E, etc.).
  • Influence test automation standards across teams.
  • Coach team members to adopt a testing mindset and improve quality.
  • Advocate QA expertise by speaking at conferences and mentoring junior QAs.

Job Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Experience as a Quality Analyst embedded within a broader development team.
  • Comfortable with agile methodologies, code management, deployment and release strategies.
  • Proficiency in TDD, BDD, CI/CD, and testing models such as Test Pyramid.
  • Capability to drive quality improvements in both on-premise and cloud architectures.
  • Design and strategize quality approaches for large programs.

Professional Skills:

  • Influence and advocate for quality with teammates and senior leaders.
  • Knowledge of user experience, user research, and prototyping methods.
  • Natural leadership that fosters effective and inclusive teams.
  • Enjoy working in collaborative, safe environments with diverse perspectives.
