Overview

Mercor is seeking Chemistry PhD / Master’s students for a premier project with one of the world's top AI labs. As a Chemistry Expert, you will contribute your subject matter expertise to a cutting-edge project involving state-of-the-art large language models.

Responsibilities

  • Curate challenging chemistry problems for AI model training.
  • Contribute 15-20 hours weekly, extendable to 40+ hours.
  • Complete an AI interview and a written form.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing/holding a Chemistry PhD or Master’s from a top US or Canadian university, or 1+ year of full-time work experience in a related domain.
  • High attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in English.
  • Applicants must be from the US or Canada.

Project Details & Payment

The project begins in September with rolling application reviews through a minimum duration of 1-2 months. Work is fully remote and asynchronous, and you will be classified as an hourly contractor paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
