Scope of Role

The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor leads the tortilla production processes during the second shift, ensuring quality output, production efficiency, and safety compliance. This role directs team members, manages production schedules, and upholds Red’s high standards.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Supervise second shift tortilla production processes to meet targets.
  • Lead and develop production associates in a productive environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards including HACCP and GMPs.
  • Monitor workflow and equipment to optimize production quality.
  • Conduct quality inspections to verify tortilla specifications.
  • Maintain production records and report performance metrics.
  • Facilitate shift communication and operational handoffs.
  • Promote continuous improvement in product quality and team engagement.
  • Enforce sanitation and safety protocols in production areas.

  • 3-5+ years in food manufacturing and 2+ years managing teams.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
  • Above average mechanical aptitude.
  • Passion for high-quality food production and continuous improvement.
