About the Role

The Senior UX Designer at Redpanda Data plays a pivotal role in designing intuitive, end-to-end experiences that empower users to connect their data, unlock insights, and create with AI. Reporting to the Head of Design, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers and product managers to translate complex technical products into delightful user experiences.

You Will

  • Gather product requirements and lead the design process from ideation to execution.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers and product managers to create high-quality prototypes.
  • Evolve and maintain the internal design system for consistency and craft.
  • Conduct both quantitative and qualitative user research to inform design decisions.
  • Mentor cross-functional stakeholders and support product quality improvements.
  • Design products used daily by thousands of customers worldwide.

You Have

  • 5+ years of UX design experience in complex, technical SAAS products.
  • Intermediate front-end development knowledge for prototyping and code contributions.
  • Proficiency with Figma or AI design tools.
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative user research.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced remote teams.
