Senior Director, SEO & AI Search
Redfin is seeking a visionary Senior Director, SEO & AI Search to lead the future of organic discovery for Redfin and Rocket. This hybrid role requires working from our Seattle, WA headquarters on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with remote work flexibility on other days. What You’ll Do
- Lead the Company’s Search Engine Strategy: Own the vision for how millions discover Redfin and Rocket. Set the long-term SEO and AI Search strategy, build a unified roadmap, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure the company stays ahead of major search shifts.
- Own Technical SEO & Platform Architecture: Drive technical SEO for large, dynamic marketplace platforms. Partner closely with Engineering and Product teams to embed search best practices into the core architecture.
- Accelerate AI Search & Answer Engine Visibility: Define Redfin and Rocket's presence in AI-powered search. Develop frameworks for structured data, entity signals, authoritative content, and intent modeling. Transform emerging discovery behaviors into product and content opportunities, positioning Redfin as a leader in AI-driven search.
- Influence at the Highest Levels: Collaborate with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Analytics. Utilize data, insights, and clear communication to drive decisions impacting millions and foster a company-wide search-first culture.
- Build and Lead a High-Performing Team: Manage a team responsible for technical SEO, content optimization, and search analytics. Recruit, mentor, and develop exceptional talent while establishing scalable processes and reporting frameworks for enterprise-level impact.
