Role Overview: Staff Technical Program Manager, Ads
We are seeking an experienced Staff Technical Program Manager to join our Ads TPM team within the Tech PMO (Technical Program Management Office). In this role, you will support the Ads Product & Engineering organization, leading cross-functional initiatives across various technical teams. You will own and drive technical programs in the Ads Monetization engineering space, collaborating with engineering leaders across the company to evaluate prioritization, tradeoffs, and risks for your programs.

Operating within the office of the CTO, we maximize our ability to galvanize and drive technical programs and solutions for company-wide problems. At Reddit, Technical Program Managers leverage their technical judgment to define and execute large programs spanning multiple engineering teams. They are key partners to engineering leaders in project discussions, impacting planning and execution. They engage with engineering staff to identify root causes, select alternative solutions, and apply their technical expertise to understand the effects, impacts, and risks of proposed solutions. Beyond program-level impact, they develop execution processes and reduce inefficiencies to build overall scale.
What You’ll Do
High-quality technical program management is a distinct and highly valued skillset at Reddit. While these roles generally do not involve direct people management, they are integral to organizational leadership. As a Staff Technical Program Manager, Ads, you will:

- 8+ years of collective experience in engineering and program management roles, with at least 4 years focused on digital ads platforms or ads monetization.

Pay Transparency
This position is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and potentially a commission based on the specific role offered. For transparency, the base salary range for this US-based position is $194,600—$272,400 USD. Final offer amounts consider factors such as skills, experience, and credentials, and may vary.
