Role Overview
The Revenue Accounting Manager at Reddit will own various revenue accounting close tasks, lead ad hoc order-to-cash projects, and assist with system implementations and automation projects. Reporting to the Revenue Accounting Senior Manager, this role works cross-functionally to support company growth and success.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily revenue accounting activities focusing on process improvements and automation.
- Manage month-end revenue close, including accounts receivable, allowances, and deferred revenue.
- Lead critical order-to-cash projects and serve as a subject matter expert on ASC 606.
- Review sales arrangements to ensure proper revenue recognition under US GAAP.
- Support external audits and enhance SOX controls across revenue processes.
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of revenue accounting experience in advertising or digital media/entertainment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with an active CPA.
- Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets with comfort handling large data volumes.
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
- Experience with Netsuite, Salesforce, and revenue automation tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a positive, flexible attitude.
