About the Job

In this role you will be challenged to apply your skills and knowledge to provide direct support for critical environments and ensure the stability of services. You will perform support activities, automation tasks, issue remediation, and root cause analysis (RCA) to maximize uptime and reduce costs for enterprise customers.

You will rely on your production support background and dev-ops experience including incident/change/problem management, call triaging, and critical issue resolution. Collaboration with customers, internal teams, architects, and Site Reliability Engineering teams is key.

This role goes beyond product support as you partner with enterprise customers offering developer-to-developer assistance for cloud-native service development and architecture. You will work closely with both junior and senior engineers in fixing and improving code, and in identifying automation opportunities.

You will also partner with development teams and Red Hat’s strategic cloud partners to resolve Multi-Cloud issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support customers using the OpenShift Ecosystem on Hybrid Cloud solutions.
  • Provide guidance to engineers dealing with complex issues.
  • Resolve issues across components like Logging, Monitoring, Networking, Storage, and Service Mesh/Istio.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems including reviewing product code.
  • Pursue continuous learning through certifications and hands-on training.
  • Engage with global teams and contribute to Red Hat’s knowledge management system.

  • Excellent communication skills and customer-centric approach.
  • Experience in configuring and troubleshooting OpenShift/Kubernetes and related components.
  • Professional Linux system administration experience.
  • Ability to analyze issues, read code (Python, C, C++, GoLang, Java) and use developer tools.
  • Enthusiasm for problem-solving and continuous technical development.
