Job Summary

Red Hat is seeking a Technical Writing Intern to join our team in Boston, MA or Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will work closely with a senior mentor, collaborate with local and global teams, and gain technical knowledge, all while developing high-quality technical documentation for our products.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with content strategists, engineering teams, and technical writers.
• Create and maintain documentation including feature guides and user manuals.
• Engage in customer feedback programs to address content gaps.
• Manage documentation projects and ensure customer-focused delivery.
• Gain expertise with internal documentation tools and issue tracking systems.
• Network with fellow interns in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Required Skills

• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Able to produce and compile detailed technical documents.
• Strong communication with subject matter experts.
• Passion for learning and technical inquiry.
• Proactive team player.
