At Red Hat, our interns are an integral part of the team. As a Technical Support Engineer Intern, you will actively contribute to day-to-day operations while working with a senior mentor in Raleigh. You will participate in real-world projects, learn about the Red Hat portfolio, and gain experience in all stages of the marketing and sales funnel.

Job Responsibilities

  • Verify, organize, and update customer contact information
  • Guide customers to register and use the Customer Portal
  • Answer basic questions about the Red Hat subscription model
  • Support customers with issues using Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Call back customers to track technical issue status
  • Network with other interns in a collaborative workplace

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and analyze data
  • Willingness to learn and proactively work in a team environment
