About the role
Red Hat Consultant
As a Red Hat Consultant, you will serve as a subject matter expert at customer sites. You will address technical, development, or strategic IT requirements by understanding industry practices and Red Hat's policies, procedures, and values. You will demonstrate good judgment in selecting the best methods to obtain solutions. You will implement and integrate Red Hat's open and hybrid cloud solutions, including Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and other Red Hat offerings. You will collaborate with project and customer team members to meet timelines and goals. You will also contribute to project documentation and diagrams, and support cases management. Additionally, you will mentor and share your knowledge with customers and the team. You will define and promote the adoption of automation techniques and DevOps processes to improve the cloud life cycle, including infrastructure and application uptime, availability, and time-to-market. You will implement solutions using cloud technologies, design principles, integration points, and automation methods.
What You Will Bring
- Advanced experience of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Advanced hands-on experience and knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Platform or underlying components like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Advanced hands-on experience and knowledge of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
- Experience implementing system infrastructure and cloud solutions, including data storage, networking, monitoring, and security.
- Ability to communicate value, progress, and metrics of key projects to required stakeholders in both technical and business audiences.
- Ability to study independently, learn quickly, and put new ideas into practice.
- Good communication skills, verbal and written, in English.
- Availability to work onsite on customer sites up to 100% of the time.
