Role Overview
The Red Hat Consulting team seeks an Automation Architect passionate about driving the adoption of Red Hat solutions among enterprise accounts, government agencies, and service provider partners. You will liaise with customer engineering, development, and operations teams, and work with cross-functional internal teams to architect solutions that meet customers' needs. This remote role requires frequent travel (30-40 weeks per year) across the United States.
What You Will Do
- Deliver discovery, analysis, and design workshops for teams.
- Scope projects and guide customers from pilot to production deployments.
- Create and deliver content to enable sales, consulting and support teams.
- Collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure a world-class customer experience.
- Demonstrate thought leadership through white papers, webinars, and industry conferences.
What You Will Bring
- 4+ years in a Solution/Enterprise Architect role with 2+ years in cloud environments.
- Strong consultative customer engagement and advisory experience with senior IT executives.
- Excellent communication skills with extensive experience presenting to C-level executives.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible and familiarity with Chef, Puppet, Salt; scripting skills in Bash and Python.
- Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and experience in CI/CD pipelines, virtualization, and container orchestration.
Role Development
In your first year, you will undergo intensive training in advanced automation concepts and the Ansible Automation Platform. You will evolve from gaining foundational technical knowledge to demonstrating technical leadership in container platforms and consulting methodologies.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range is $116,270 - $191,840 annually, with additional benefits such as comprehensive health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, and more. Note these benefits are applicable to full time, permanent associates located in the United States.
