About The Job

As an Ansible Automation Architect, you will drive the adoption of Red Hat's solutions among enterprise, government, and service provider partners.
The Automation Architect works cross-functionally with product, engineering, support, professional services, and sales teams to ensure customer success. You will be a customer advocate, aligning their requirements with functional capabilities of the solution and guiding them from pilot to production deployments.
What You Will Do
- Lead discovery, analysis, and design workshops for diverse teams.
- Scope projects and guide customers in pilot and production deployments.
- Create and deliver sales, consulting, and support enablement content.
- Collaborate with internal teams for a world-class customer experience.
- Develop methodologies and tools to scale service capabilities.
- Produce thought leadership content including white papers and webinars.
- Travel frequently (30-40 weeks per year) to work with major clients across various sectors.
What You Will Bring
- Experience architecting complex solutions and cloud environments.
- 4+ years in an architectural consulting role with 2+ years in cloud.
- Strong consultative approach and proven record engaging C-level executives.
- Depth in DevOps methodologies and hands-on Ansible experience.
- Knowledge of related tools such as Chef, Puppet, and Salt; scripting in bash and python.
Role and Training
After joining, you will undergo an intensive training program in advanced automation concepts and Ansible Automation Platform. Your skill set will evolve over the first year, from acquiring fundamental design principles, to implementing container platform projects and eventually demonstrating technical leadership.
