Job Description

The Financial Systems Analyst will support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA. Reporting to the FM Business Solutions Office (FMZ), this role advances solutions to improve processing, analysis, organization, storage, and use of financial data across the enterprise. Candidates should have extensive federal financial systems experience, the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle knowledge, and hands-on expertise in Momentum Financials.

Responsibilities

  • Manage enterprise-level financial operations for FM Business Solutions Office (FMZ).
  • Assist government leadership with financial management, resource allocation, and program oversight.
  • Support and enhance GEO-F and ORBIT systems.
  • Monitor resource allocations, develop schedules, business cases, system documentation, and training materials.
  • Design data migration methodologies and develop IV&V testing processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve interoperability and policy issues.
  • Define technical requirements after operational assessments and participate in milestone events.
  • Coordinate with security organizations for certification and compliance activities.
  • Support implementation of financial systems in federal environments and develop reference architectures, CONOPs, data strategies, implementation plans, and process flows.
  • Conduct detailed release note comparisons and advise system owners on updates.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, Computer Science, or Economics.
  • 8+ years of federal financial management experience including PPBE cycle.
  • Specialized experience in Momentum Financials and software lifecycle management.
  • Experience in resolving FISCAM audit NFRs and conducting SAR reviews on SSAE 18.

Desired Qualifications

Experience coordinating with diverse financial stakeholders in the DoD or IC, with strong knowledge of federal financial systems architecture and lifecycle processes. Excellent communication, analytical, organizational skills and an ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional teams.
