Handyperson (Property Operations)
C+C Apartment Management LLC, a leader in management and real estate operations, oversees the day-to-day operations of over 18,000 residential dwelling units across approximately 400 multi-family buildings in the New York Tri-state area.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor building and grounds for a neat presentation.
- Perform minor painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other maintenance duties.
- Complete grounds maintenance including mowing, shrub trimming, cultivating flower beds and snow/ice removal.
- Manage tool and equipment safety and proper storage.
- Report emergencies and major repair needs immediately.
- Adhere to company policies, especially health and safety procedures.
- Perform emergency on-call duties as required.
Essential Job Functions
This role requires functioning in all weather conditions, performing medium to heavy work that includes prolonged standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 100 lbs.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.
- 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or construction supervision.
- Basic knowledge of janitorial procedures and the use of both hand and power tools.
- ALC lead paint certification is a plus.
About the Role
The position involves interacting with residents, handling complaints with discretion, and ensuring security throughout the premises. Additional duties may be assigned at management's discretion.
