Overview
C+C Apartment Management LLC, an industry leader in management and real estate operations, is seeking a reliable Handyperson to assist with property operations across 18,000 residential units in the New York Tri-state area.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor building and grounds for neat presentation.
- Perform minor repairs including painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and carpentry.
- Conduct grounds maintenance such as mowing, trimming, and debris removal.
- Ensure tool and equipment safety and proper storage.
- Handle emergency maintenance issues and on-call duties as required.
Essential Job Functions
Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, engaging in medium to heavy physical tasks including lifting up to 100 lbs and frequent carrying of up to 50 lbs. Good eye/hand coordination is essential.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in maintenance and/or construction supervision preferred.
- Basic janitorial skills and ability to interact effectively with residents.
- Experience with hand and power tools, and ALC lead paint certification is a plus.
