Job Overview - Handyperson

C+C Apartment Management LLC, an industry leader in property management, is seeking a Handyperson for its Maintenance Department. Reporting to a Property Manager or Building Superintendent, you will assist in day-to-day maintenance of over 18,000 residential units across 400 multi-family buildings in the New York Tri-state area.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Monitor building and grounds for neat presentation.
  • Perform minor repairs: painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry.
  • Maintain supplies and secure building post work.
  • Conduct grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming and snow removal.
  • Report and repair emergency maintenance issues immediately.

Essential Functions & Requirements

The role demands work both indoors and outdoors in variable weather conditions. Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and carry up to 50 lbs is essential, along with good eye/hand coordination. A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in maintenance or construction is ideal. Basic janitorial knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools are required, as is an ALC lead paint certification.
